I have worked as a School Counsellor, and know how important it is to support young people and their mental health. Balancing today's demands, young people can become overwhelmed and not know how to manage their emotions. Friendship breakdowns; family concerns; body image battles; anger; bullying and bereavement are all things that can feel scary to a young person. Being able to talk about what's going on, feel safe and listened to, can help a young person express themselves and learn new ways of coping with confusing emotions.
